A woman with long hair wearing a beanie looks out a bus window at a port terminal

The Port of Tacoma has announced dates and ticket availability for its popular bus tours for the first half of 2026. The free public tours offer members of the community a unique opportunity to explore the Port and see global trade in action.

Guests will get a close-up look at Port operations while gaining fascinating insights into the maritime industry, along with fun trivia and plenty of photo opportunities. Tours cover the history of the Port, how cargo moves from ship to shore, and the wide range of environmental programs the Port has implemented to reduce the environmental impact of seaport-related operations.

“I loved it,” said Keisha McGee, who attended a recent bus tour. “This is something everyone should experience.”

Tours depart from the Fabulich Center at 3600 Port of Tacoma Road in Tacoma and last approximately two hours. Children six and older are welcome. Space is limited, so reservations are required.
